What are CKDs 

Certified Kitchen Designers (CKD's), which are accredited by the National Kitchen & Bath Association, specialize in the design, planning and execution of kitchens, bathrooms and other built-in units throughout the home. Only a select group of expert designers attain the CKD designation(s).

The planning of kitchen and bathroom spaces requires unique design skills and knowledge because of the highly technical nature of the equipment incorporated into them, and the personal way that these environments affect the user.  CKDs prove advanced knowledge of technical and personal communication skills required to succeed as a design specialist in residential kitchen, bathroom and other built-in environments.

We offer design services by certified kitchen designer and NKBA National 2006 Vice President Sara Busby. Her expertise extends beyond the kitchen into bathrooms, libraries/home offices, and laundry rooms, as well as built-in cabinetry, wall units, and entertainment centers. 

Sara Busby Design’s trusted team of subcontractors professionally install all cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and flooring for your home. Our remodeling ability means that walls can be moved, making room for additional space when necessary.

Sara Busby can create both computer aided designs as well as hand-rendered drawings, allowing you to “see” your new kitchen and get to know it before it’s installed. Our drafting services include floor plans, elevations and perspective drawings.
